Atlanta Weekly News
There are always news stories that we seem to miss on theevening news, and when we hear them they are old news. I decided to post a few pertinent stories in the Atlanta news and Spotlight for this week. Perhaps if noting else it may spark some dialog, debate, and conversation with friends, associates, neighbors or a topic of discussion at your next BBQ! The news stories shared are not limited to Georgia, but are timely topics, in the news and current events.

Paul
Jim:
Very interesting, many things are still the same. I good idea the news.
Richard
Jim, I spoke with a negotiator on a short sale today. Their bank is looking at 5 more years of short sales and foreclosures......we're near the end?
Jim: Great idea for a post. It seems like bank failures used to receive more press. We aren't out of the woods yet for sure.
Jim - Great news format even though the news isn't great. While the "experts," media and politicians like to continually call the bottom/recovery, those of us "in the trenches" know it just ain't so.
Paul Henderson, Realtor ® Lacey, DuPont or Hartstene Pointe WA. (RE/MAX Professionals & Four Seasons Inc.) Thank Paul you too!
Richard Stabile Bergen County New Homes Builder Realtor (REMAX real estate associates) Thanks. I keep looking for ways to get the real news out there.
Kay Van Kampen-Springfield, Ozark, Nixa Greene County Missouri Real Estate Agent (RE/MAX Broker, RE/MAX Solutions) I do not think so. When they told us sub-prime was not a big deal and it represented only a small fraction of loans...they lied. It was only the beginning of the lies.
Matt Grohe Remax Des Moines (RE/MAX Real Estate Concepts) Bank failures are one of the real stories that they do not want you to read about. We should be paying attention to it.
John Mulkey, Housing Guru (TheHousingGuru.com) John there is a major disconnect between new and the public. I think we all know the meaning of the term "Propaganda!"
Jim, This is a great format for getting some of the overlooked headlines into the spotlight. If you are in Atlanta real estate, you can feel this is true, without even reading the articles. Some of these I missed, can't wait to check them out!
Jenna Dixon, Assoc Broker, NW Metro Atlanta (DRA Homes (Atlanta, GA)) I know. There were a few more that occured over the weekend I would like to post about next week.
Jim I wonder when we will ever see some really positive news. I am guessing a couple of years!
Bill Gassett Metrowest Massachusetts Real Estate (RE/MAX Executive Realty) Bill I was hoping for something closer...like election time.
Jim That is an excellent format even the news could be better - well done
Jim Crawford...You have our attention, have us thinking about real estate in Atlanta Georgia.
Karen Kruschka - Prince William, Fairfax ,Stafford County VA Real Estate Service (RE/MAX Olympic Realty) Thanks Karen, a lot of real stories seem to be buried. People need to really ready what is actually going on.
Andrew Mooers | Northern Maine Real Estate / Aroostook County Broker (MOOERS REALTY) Thank you Andrew...I try!
