Toll Free Numbers - What Do You Use?

I need a new toll free solution!  First of all, I've been using a toll free number of over 15 years now and attribute much of my income to having one.  A toll free numberis one of the best real estate tools I've ever used, and could not imagine making a living in real estate without one!  There are loads of options, but I am lookingfor a smart one with portability.  In the past I've tried other options, and was disappointed in them...some for quality, and others for pricing.  I used to use a toll free number that attached to a business home phone, and the first numbers of the number became a toll free number.  It was is it piggy backed on my existing service.  The cost was an additional $70/ month.  My current toll free number resides with my broker and is cheap less than $5 / a month but the number is not portable.  I like the portability of a toll free number.  I must admit I do not like the sound quality of VOIP...it sounds like it is coming in over 2 tin cans and a sting tied between them!

Here is basically how I use the toll free number.  A person comes to my website and calls my toll free number.  The toll free number then dumps into a voice mail where they leave a message, and I capture their number at the same time.  I am not interested in conversing with the person on a toll free number.  It gets very expensive, and all many persons are looking for are free information at my expense!  Any ideas?  Please share!

I noticed on Kristal's post (now featured) she references the Arch-telecom system and that many agents are still using it. I tried it once, wasn't for me. I'm interested to here what suggestions you get.

Jim, I will be curious about your solution. Someone mentioned Folow Me Technology with Google but that does not fit your dump into Voice mail concept. I have a Sprint dirt cheap 800 line that rolls into my Verizon land line so there is caller ID but sometimes I do answer as part of the mix of calls rolling in.

I have had a toll free # since 1995 at about $7 a month with 200 minutes and .10 a minute thereafter. It is through Cox, but I had it with Bellsouth and AT&T.
