Christmas Shoppin in the South! Gettin in the Mood for A Suthin Christmas!

Hi, Y'All (or in the plural it's "All Y'All)

That's what I'm talking about, what a way to roll!  While many folks in the Northeast may cram into subways to do their "Black Friday" Christmas shopping, and San Franciscans may squeeze into street cars, we in Atlanta have a better way.  We take our buggies out.  It's a lot more fun and holiday like.  This fun shot was taken at one of the pedestrian friendly malls called The Forum in Peachtree Corners.  There's another larger mall on this same style called The Avenues in Cumming, Georgia.  This past weekend as we enjoyed the beautiful holiday decor at The Forum, this wonderful horse drawn buggy took families and sweethearts alike along the cobblestone byways of the mall, passing all the shops ranging from Barnes & Noble at one end down to Ted's Montana Restaurant, another of our favorite eateries.  The jewelery shops seemed more bedazzled during this magical time of the year and the little families dressed in their Sunday finery dropping by to visit Santa added to the charm.  Be good everyone because Santa is hitching up fairly soon.  We hope all y'all get the desire of your hearts!

Christmas Shopping in the South!

Hi Jim~ I may not mind Christmas shopping on Black Friday if that was the way it was done!  Otherwise I don't do Black Fridays!

A much more civilied way to shop than fighting over parking spaces.

Jim - I was no where near a mall this past Black Friday (or entire weekend)....but that's a unique way for your area's shopping malls to add a holiday season touch!  Tis the season !  (Where did the year go?)
