Blogging is relatively new but serves many different purposes. It is different and similar to other types of writing. It combines the style of a personal web page, with a dairy, to an informative commentary, and to an open forum that provides a topical dialogue that is beneficial to all involved. But I know it has many other uses! It is phenomenal for real estate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and web placement. Hot links within the commentary reinforce search terms in popular searches. Example: Atlanta homes for sale, or real estate speaker. Other uses may actually take the real estate agent off the ledge, because instead of losing it with some of the agents we work with...we can vent our issues to others in our field as in this http://www.activerain.com/ forum! Misery loves company! LOL! We can ring the bell for mental health here.
And since we are pitching our topics to other agents. Blogging also creates opportunities for creating new friendships, developing networking groups, or perhaps even creating a focus group with others that have the same interests. Did I also mention it is a little addictive?
