Unless you are being spammed by an anonymous poster and have temporarily turned off anonymous replies...why would you turn off comments to a Blog? To me it makes my blood boil when you read an incredible Blog, and at the bottom of the post it says "COMMENTS DISABLED BY AUTHOR!" Excuse me? Why Blog? Do you even know what you are doing, or did you just check the wrong box in your 'settings?' The reason I say this is that you just lost out on viral marketing, Google juice, and so much more. You have denied your viewers from around the globe a chance to communicate with you. Most will not return to you Blog, nor will they recommend your site to others or share your posts. The entire point of Blogging is dialog, it isn't a one way street. No one will be bookmarking your Blog just so that when they return, they can be disappointed again.
